Our stockroom shelves look a bit like a garden in springtime… there are bright colors and floral patterns all around. Highlighted above are some of our “Chichi” bags: all made of recycled huipiles (hand-woven and embroidered ladies’ blouses) from Chichicastenango, Guatemala. No two are the same!

All of our items are Fair Trade and the majority of the items we will be adding are handmade in Guatemala from recycled materials.
Here is a great use of some of our fall accessories. The speckled square earrings, batik bunch bag and burkina bangles are all handmade in Ghana.Well, we are new to the blogging thing, so you are all going to have to be a little patient, while we learn just exactly what you want to hear from us here at Unique Batik. Who are we? We are a Fair Trade company in North Carolina that designs and imports jewelry, bags, clothing and accessories from Guatemala, Ghana, Thailand and Pakistan.
